The leaders in plastic-lined piping

For over 65 years Fusibond has been providing the best quality plastic lined pipe and plastic lined pipe fittings in the marketplace. Our Founder worked for the real inventor of plastic lined pipe in 1950 — just two years after it was developed.

Fusibond has developed the most modern equipment and process in the industry. This state-of-the-art molding technique we call our “Fusion-Bond” system is the only way you can be sure of the same seamless uniform plastic wall thickness in fittings that is standard in everyone’s plastic lined pipe.

Only Fusibond cycles every piece of plastic lined pipe and fitting from ambient through its temperature range prior to shipment. We simply do it right.

Why engineers choose Fusibond

No permeation. No vent holes. Full vacuum at elevated temperatures. Built for the most demanding chemical process applications.

No Permeation

Dense, heavy-wall linings eliminate permeation issues common with conventional lined pipe systems.

No Vent Holes

Our process locks the liner into the metal housing so expansion and contraction occur as a single unit.

Full Vacuum @ 450°F

Suitable for full vacuum service at elevated temperatures — a capability few competitors can match.

Temperature Cycled

Every piece is cycled from ambient through its full temperature range before it leaves our facility.

Uniform Wall Thickness

Linings are molded in place after the fitting is cast — never bent, stretched, or distorted.

100% Spark Tested

Every item is spark tested at a minimum of 25,000 volts to guarantee lining integrity.

The Fusion-Bond difference

Using engineering know-how and over 65 years of experience, we developed the most modern equipment and process in the lined-pipe industry.

01

Molded in Place

We mold all linings in place after the fitting is cast or fabricated. No bending, stretching, expanding, or seaming of the liner.

02

Temperature Compensated

Dense, impact-resistant heavy-wall plastic linings are temperature compensated and locked into their metal housings.

03

Expand & Contract as a Unit

The liner and housing expand and contract together, eliminating the need for vent holes and preventing liner collapse under vacuum.

04

Proven Quality Process

Every piece is temperature-cycled and spark-tested before shipment. That’s the Fusibond guarantee.
